Cold water washing using Ozone in Laundries is not new. However OZONE in WAREWASHING (Dishwashing), using cold water, is a NEW and UNIQUE concept which has been developed and patented by our company.

Utilising this technology, we have also been able to redefine the process of using ozone, cold water washing in LAUNDRIES, drastically reducing the cost of the system by up to 80%.

There is a minimum of 70% energy reduction for laundry and warewashing using ozonewash technology.
(The ozonewash technology has been patented in the Republic of South Africa and Australia whilst the patent is pending in the USA and Europe).

WHY IS INDUSTRY AND GOVERNMENT EXCITED BY THIS TECHNOLOGY?

Because of its powerful oxidation properties ozone dissolves soil on contact and does so at ambient water temperatures, instead of conventional 60º - 80º, which drastically reduces heating costs. Some estimates indicate that an 80% fuel consumption saving can be realized.

1. Ozone's powerful disinfecting properties allows for dramatic reductions in energy and sewer surcharges. Quicker cycle times occur, which increases the productivity per machine, per hour. Labor savings, estimated at 20%, can also be realized through shortened wash and dry times.

2. The EPA and FDA have acknowledged that ozone is capable of reducing pathogenic bacterial levels on garments by 99.9992%. Ozone is also recognized for its powerful pollutant destruction capabilities in laundry wastewater and therefore in the purification of wastewater.
